Historic Landmark

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Henry Clay was originally developed as an Elks Lodge in 1924. Throughout the 1930s, ’40s, and ’50s, the building was a premier hotel, bustling in the center of downtown. After housing the YWCA, the building sat vacant for many years – later to be brought back to its previous grandeur with renovations by Weyland Ventures Group in 2005.
